Annamaria Colao is a full professor of Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases at Federico II University of Naples. Director of the Department for Endocrinology, Diabetology, Andrology and Nutrition; UNESCO Post for Education on Health and Sustainable Development - Federico II University. Coordinator of the Centre for European and National Excellence for Obesity (C.I.B.O.). President of the Campania Region Project for a Regional Endocrinology Network; founder and scientific director of the non-profit Campus Salute for the prevention of disease. Elected president of the Italian Endocrinology Society (SIE) for the period 2021-2023.
